Your quiz answers, saved shortlists and weighting preferences. If you don't create an account, these stay in your browser's local storage and never reach our servers. If you create an account, we store your email and sync this data so it follows you across devices.
We don't sell your personal data. We don't share your quiz answers or shortlists with third parties for advertising. The place data that powers Austin’s Almanac is aggregate and public — it says nothing about you.
If you sign in with Google, Google handles authentication under its own privacy policy; we receive only your name and email. Payments (on paid plans) are processed by our payment provider — we never see or store full card numbers.
You can use the entire explorer without an account. You can delete your saved data from your browser at any time, and account holders can request full deletion by reaching out through our contact page.
Austin’s Almanac is a decision-support tool built on public data. Fit scores are estimates to inform your own research — not financial, legal, real-estate or relocation advice. Verify anything that matters (laws, taxes, school assignments, exact prices) with an authoritative source before you act.
We draw on reputable public sources and label estimates as estimates, but we can't guarantee every figure is current or error-free. Some block-level detail is modeled while live feeds are finalized. Use Austin’s Almanac as a starting point, not the last word.
Use Austin’s Almanac for personal or professional relocation research. Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute the data outside the terms of your plan (API access is available on Pro).
We may update these terms as the product evolves; we'll post the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
